Virginia Sherman

Virginia M. (Reigner) Sherman, 95, of Pottstown, widow of Howard H. Sherman, passed away on Friday March 22, 2024 at the Pottstown Hospital.
Born in Boyertown, PA, she was a daughter of the late Paul Reigner and the late Ella (Stauffer) Reigner.
Virginia was a secretary for the former Stanley G. Flaggs Co., Stowe for twenty years.
She was a member of Eastern Star #338, Pottstown where she was a past worthy matron.
She is survived by two sons, Troy A. husband of Shelly Sherman, Fleetwood, Bruce H. husband of Jan Sherman, Cary, NC; a daughter, Cynthia M. widow of David Weidner, Stowe; two brothers, Richard Reigner, Frederick Living, Howard "Hoppy" husband of Sue Reigner, Gilbertsville; five grandchildren, Derek, Mike, Kristyn, Alex, Aiden and six great grandsons, Cameron, Benjamin, Andrew, Jacob, Jesse, and Dayton. She was predeceased by a sister, Fern Davidheiser.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, March 27. 2024 at the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, 359 King Street, Pottstown. Officiating will be Reverend Barry L. Moyer. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park. There will be a viewing Wednesday morning from 10:30 to 11:00 A.M at the funeral home.
