Ruth Shaner
November 7, 1931 - April 14, 2024 (Age 92)
Ruth A. (Stonesifer) Shaner, 92, of Pottstown, wife of the late Roger E. Shaner, passed away Sunday April 14, 2024 at Manatawny Manor.
Born in Pottstown, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Alice (Brant) Stonesifer.
Ruth worked at Mrs. Smit’s Foil Company for many years. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed.
Surviving are her children Debra Barndt, Donna Mourar, Michael Shaner, Lisa Schade, Melinda Speaker wife of Scott, Karen Crable wife of Dwayne, and Richard Shaner; 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and sister Kathryn Kovatch.
Along with her husband and parents, she was predeceased by 4 brothers Paul Jr., Joseph, Robert and Richard Stonesifer and 1 sister Dorothy Shanley.
Visitation will be Friday April 19, 2024, from 11:00-11:45 AM at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM at the Cemetery Chapel. Burial will be held privately.
