Pedro Eugenio Ronchi, 80, of Charlotte and formerly of Argentina, died Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at Novant Health Presbyterian Campus in Charlotte, NC.
Pedro was born on in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on August 8, 1940, the son of Pedro and Maria Giuggia Ronchi. He grew up there and trained to become a mechanic. He worked as a mechanic and worker for delivery and moving companies. About four years ago, with his health declining, he came to Charlotte to live with family.
When Pedro was not working, he enjoyed sports, including his favorite futbol team, Boca Junior. Most of all, though, he loved the time spent with family and friends and his “tio” status.
Pedro is survived by his brother, Norberto (wife Carmen) of Charlotte; a niece, Anahi (husband Ezequiel) Brusa of Indian Trail, NC, and their children Lucas and Marcos; and another niece, Noelia (husband Rafael) Camargo of New Jersey and their son, Samuel. Pedro is further survived by numerous other family and friends both in the United States and his home country of Argentina. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Pedro’s family has given the family of Lowe-Neddo Funeral Home the privilege of caring for him and for them. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 11, 2021, at Sunset Memory Gardens, 8901 Lawyers Road, Charlotte.
