Paul E. Schluessler
October 4, 1942 - September 14, 2021 (Age 78)
Paul E. Schluessler, 78 passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021. He spent his last evening watching the Las Vegas Raiders with his son, Paul W. Paul was a 1960 graduate of Zanesville High School. He owned West Pike Shell for 40 years. He was an avid Dale Earnhardt fan and enjoyed traveling with family and friends to numerous NASCAR races. He was also a fan of the Las Vegas Raiders and Detroit Tigers.
Paul is survived by his wife Dorothy (Northrop) Schluessler; a son Paul W. Schluesser; a sister Christine (Charles) Bitler of Fort Wayne, IN; a grandson Marcus (Haley) Schluessler; a granddaughter Kaycie Schluessler; one great granddaughter Brinley Schluessler; and three sisters in law: Kathy (John) Wetzel, Linda (Robert) Wilson and Gloria Edgell.
He is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Pauline (Carney) Schluessler; mother and father in law: William and Dorothy Northrop; a great grandson Maxxen Schluessler; a sister in law Debbie Snider; a brother in law John Edgell; and niece Angie Snider.
Graveside services will be held at 12PM Friday, September 17, 2021 at Zanesville Memorial Park with Pastor Jamie Harrop officiating.
