Mark Timothy Hamilton

Cresaptown, MD – Mark “Tim” Timothy Hamilton, 64, of Cresaptown, MD, passed away peacefully after struggling with diagnosis from cancer on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at his home.

Born April 29, 1959, in Cumberland, MD, Mr. Hamilton was the son of Margie (Corwell) Hamilton and the late David Hamilton.

Tim attended Ridgeley High School and was in the first graduating class at Frankfort High School in 1977, he was a former employee of Westvaco, Western Sizzler, and most recently worked at UPMC Western Maryland. He enjoyed spending time on the river with his family, was a motorcycle enthusiast, and loved to cook and bake. Tim spent many years hunting and fishing with family. He had a knack for tasteless jokes, which he loved to repeat often, and he lived life in the fast lane.

Besides his mother, Tim is survived by his long-time companion: Frances Sell; his children: Mindy Shields and husband, Taylor; Amy Belt and husband, Patrick; and Heidi Hamilton; his sister: Missy Graziano and husband, Rocco; his brother: David “Bob” Hamilton, Jr. and wife, Jeanne; his grandchildren: Mason Belt, Baylou Hamilton, Memphis Belt, Maris Shields, Salem Cruz, and Jenson Cruz; his stepson: Sean Sell; and his step-granddaughter: Ashley Sell; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD, (www.AdamsFamilyFuneralHome.com) on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 P.M.

Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
