July 19, 1930 - April 30, 2021 (Age 90)

Harry J Pifferetti, 90, of New Stanton, passed away on Friday April 30, 2021 He was born on July 19, 1930 in Wilmerding, the son of the late Angelo and Mabel (Wheeler) Pifferetti. He was a member of Holy Cross Church in Youngwood. Harry is survived by his children, Larry Pifferetti (Bonnie), of Irwin, Bonnie Scheller (David), of Butler, Becky Jacobes (Jake), of Florida, John Gootz (Janet), of Greensburg, Elizabeth Smith (James) of Adamsburg, Timothy Gootz (Darlene), of New Stanton, Paul Gootz, of New Stanton, Delila Pifferetti (David Williams), of Youngwood, and Marylynn Pifferetti (Shawn), of New Stanton and Bobby Cale of Columbia, SC.; his 20 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. Harry is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Harry was preceded in death by his loving wife, Margaret (Gephart) Pifferetti; his brothers, Tommy, William, Jack, Geno Pifferetti; his sisters, Jean Consoli, Ivy Pifferetti and Bessie Toffolo. Friends will be recieved on Monday, May 3, from 4-8 pm in the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc. 101 S 4th St. Youngood. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 4, at 10:30 am in Holy Cross Church, 711 Depot St. Youngwood. Everyone is to go straight to the church. Interment will follow in the Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg. Masks must be worn and social distancing be maintained.
