November 19, 1934 - September 16, 2021 (Age 86)

G. Laverne Ingles, 86 of Cambridge died 12:31 A.M. Thursday, September 16, 2021 at her residence under hospice care and surrounded by her family.

She was born November 19, 1934 in Flatwoods Kentucky the daughter of Carmen V. Church and Rose Ellen Caudill Church.

Laverne was a homemaker who loved playing the piano, Basket Weaving and Tole Painting. She was an accomplished cook, enjoyed yard work, fixing things and watching QVC. Laverne attended several Nazarene Churches in the Zanesville area & played the piano for many years at the South Zanesville Nazarene Church. She enjoyed spending time with family & especially loved her grandkids.

She is survived by 4 daughters; Rhonda Ingles, Renita Jennings, Robyn (Bryan) Cooper and Reba (Joe) Troxell; 13 grandchildren, Erica Wilson, Ashley Wilson, Elyse Atkins, Bryce Cooper, Adam Eldredge, Chelsea Prokop, Natalie Cooper, triplets Alexandra “Allie”, Tanner and Perry Eldredge, Kate Cooper, Olivia Troxell and Quinn Troxell; 6 great grandchildren; a brother Donald (Myra) Church; Several nieces & nephews & cousins including a special niece, Darla Westerman also her dear friend & sister in Christ, Patty Owens who along with Laverne were separated during church services when one started laughing and the other joined in.

Laverne was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Bryant Ingles in August of 1992; a son, Randall Ingles in 1985; and 3 sisters, Wilma Ingles, Edith Childress and Virginia Jo Westerman.

Visitation will be held from 12 noon to 2:00 PM with funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM Monday, September 20, 2021 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Owens officiating. Burial will conclude at the Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Military Rd.

Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Association.
