Esther E. McCauley, age 86 of Cambridge, passed away on Monday January 17, 2022 at Countryview Assisted Living Center. She was born on June 3, 1935 in Cambridge, a daughter of the late Donald A. Becker and Mildred (Dunning) Becker.
Mrs. McCauley was a 1953 Graduate of Cambridge High School. She was a homemaker and a member of Beckett Avenue United Methodist Church. She enjoyed quilting and spending time with her grandchildren.
Esther was preceded in death by: her husband Earl D. McCauley in 1997, they were married in July of 1953. Also deceased are: her parents; a son Donald McCauley; and her sisters, Evelyn Sivard, Shirley Baker and an infant sister Grace Ann.
She leaves: two sons, Tom (Susan) McCauley of Cambridge and David McCauley of Cambridge; grandchildren, Christina (Jason) Chrismer, Benjamin McCauley, Drew (Cammy) McCauley, Clay McCauley and Chloe McCauley; two great grandchildren, Samantha Chrismer and Riley Chrismer and another great granddaughter on the way; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at Bundy-Law Funeral Home on Thursday, January 20, 2022 from 11 am to 1 pm with a service to begin at 1 pm. Pastor Randy Mercer will officiate with burial to follow at Guernsey Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Countryview Assisted Living at 62825 County Home Road Lore City, Ohio 43755 or to Hospice of Guernsey at P.O. Box 1165 Cambridge, Ohio 43725.
