Bernard LeRoy Cavendish

Bernard LeRoy Cavendish, 83, of Zanesville died at 7:03 A.M. Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at the Genesis Hospital Emergency Room from a sudden illness.
He was born on Saturday, April 9, 1938 in Zanesville, Ohio and was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Roseville OH. He served the 342nd Military Police. Bernard retired after 30 years of service with Rockwell International. He enjoyed playing golf and visiting with his friends at McDonalds every morning with the Liars Club.
Surviving are his wife, Patricia “Pat” Ann Achauer Cavendish whom he married on June 9, 1957 and a son Rev. Brent (Rev. Laura) Cavendish; 4 grandchildren, Jesse, Michael, Trey and Ben; a brother-in-law, Wes Achauer.
His mother, Dorothy M. Palmer Cavendish and a son, Brian Cavendish, preceded Bernard in death.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. on Monday, May 3, 2021 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home where funeral service will be held at 12:00 P.M. with Rev. Laura Bickel Cavendish and Rev. Brent Cavendish officiating. Burial will conclude at the Zanesville Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions can be made to the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Roseville or to the Muskingum Animal Shelter Society.
